Greek Run on August 6, 2022

Jeff’s Greek Run - most importantly it’s finally back and it will be a celebration of an amazing life lived beyond as Jeff always would toe the Greek Run line - and so many ultras over the years.

Jeff’s Greek Run 🇬🇷will be August 6th with the 6 and 12 hour trail runs and loads of FUN, FOOD, BEER, 7 minute awards ceremony 🙂, and his tree. Jeff would want us all to enjoy ♥️

The grass-roots concept was created to see what was possible in the ultra-triathlon (longer than ironman distance) space, but with the added difficulty of going Off Road.

About the race

DUTOR is centered around the idea of safety from removing traffic concerns, road restriction. Being within nature is a key component with DUTOR. First Official Events occurred October 2020 in Pittsburgh, PA followed by athletes in the Netherlands, multiple locations in the US and UK.

DUTOR provides flexibility and allows for each athlete to have the event in their own home location.

Double DUTOR Duathlon

Course layouts

The typical course will include loop format for the bike and run to allow for less costs with crewing and logistics. The swim can be in a pool or lake. However, the DUTOR can be a self-supported point to point course.

Swim Alternatives

Kayak or Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP)

can be used as well as a substitution for the Swim

Official Timing

All forms of GPX such as Strava, Ride With GPS, Trackleaders or any other GPX tracking can be used for official results and to be included on the Official Records page on DUTOR website. Miles for each discipline and elevation gain will be recorded.
